Piedmont-Carolina Section

Organized: 1923 as a Branch, 1927 as a Section. Renamed from Charlotte Section to Piedmont Carolina in 1940. Name changed to Piedmont, and then Piedmont-Carolina in 1949. Headquarters City: Charlotte, NC. Territory: The counties of Alexander, Anson, Burke, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Richmond, Rowan, Rutherford, Stanly, and Union in North Carolina, and the county of York in South Carolina.
